“Chapala Yesterday and Today” Workshop
The Chapala Yesterday and Today arts and crafts workshop is a community initiative designed to encourage
interaction among Lake Chapala residents—both locals and foreigners—of all ages and abilities. Its goal is to promote
well-being, build confidence, and inspire active participation in the region’s social and cultural life.
Centered around acrylic painting, the workshop fosters intergenerational connection by offering a welcoming space
where creative expression takes priority. Participants are encouraged to share experiences, explore their artistic
freedom, and help strengthen the bonds that unite the community.
